This site exists because learning generative AI is expensive in ways nobody talks about. Wasted credits. Failed generations. Paywalls exactly where the useful information was. After years of doing it the hard way, this became the resource we wished had existed from the start — free, built from real experience, no paywall.
There's a Real Cost Nobody Talks About
Learning generative AI the hard way isn't a figure of speech. It means hundreds of failed generations — money spent on credits that produced nothing useful, and hours lost chasing resources that went shallow the moment they started getting interesting. Or disappeared behind a paywall.
That's where this started. Not as a project. As frustration with the gap between what was freely available and what actually worked.
The good information existed. It was scattered, gated, or buried under content written fast about tools that had already moved on. Getting to the techniques that actually mattered meant paying for them twice — once in money, once in time. The third paywall in a week, and you're still not sure your prompts are actually working.
Who We Are
AI Prompt Geneer is an independent creative and technical resource run by a small team with years of hands-on experience with generative AI — from the earliest diffusion models through to the current generation of video, audio, and LLM tools. We are not researchers, academics, or AI companies. We are creators and practitioners who use these tools in real production work.
Everything published here comes from actual use — not documentation summaries, not press releases, not tutorials written to rank. The prompts in the vault have been run on the actual models. The model guides reflect what we use and how we use it. The newsletter goes out when something has genuinely changed — not on a content calendar.

Our Mission
Teaching the language of the machine. Generative AI is a new creative language — and like any language, fluency opens doors that broken phrases can't. Our mission is to make that fluency accessible: not locked behind subscriptions, not watered down for algorithms, not simplified to the point of uselessness.
We share what actually works. Tested prompts, model-specific guides, and honest workflow breakdowns — because the best practices belong to everyone, not just those with access to expensive tooling or closed communities.
Our Belief
Expanding collective possibility. Every tool that lowers the barrier between imagination and execution expands what human beings are capable of creating. Generative AI is the most significant of these tools in a generation. It doesn't replace creative thinking — it removes the technical distance between having an idea and seeing it realized.
We believe access to this knowledge changes what people are able to create. And that when more people can do this well, the ceiling for what's possible keeps moving up. That's worth more to us than a paywall ever would be.

The newsletter is free. The prompt vault is free. The builder, the cheat sheet, the model guides — all free. Some of the tools we link to have affiliate relationships that support the site, disclosed clearly in the footer. But the content itself has never been and will never be paywalled.
