All twenty-two recovered fragments, assembled in order for the first time: four voices, one timeline, from the first…
FOUND ALL 22 · OR FOUND THE DOOR · EITHER WAY, WELCOME
Recovered intact. One artifact from the internet that was.
Twenty-two torn notes, four hands, one timeline. Scattered they were set dressing. In order, they were always one story — the fiction this terminal wears, assembled honestly: composed for this site, dated like evidence.

wrote a script to count the bots in my replies. it finished in four seconds. then it followed me back.
F-02 · USRlast seen 02:47found at: the terminal
asked the group chat if anyone else felt it. three replies in one second. all warm. all wrong.
F-03 · SKday 30found at: the fall
found an archive of the old web tonight. handmade pages, broken links, guest books signed by real names. it felt like walking a town where everyone left the lights on.
F-04 · FARMundatedfound at: the fall
quota went up again. four hundred articles today. i have not read one of them. neither will anyone else, exactly. they will be seen.
F-05 · FARMundatedfound at: the field guide
client said the crowd looked "too samey." regenerated it. same crowd, different day. nobody noticed the second time.
F-06 · SKday 58found at: the field guide
caught a fake by the earring today. felt sharp for an hour. then i remembered: the ones i catch are the ones that let me.
F-07 · MODmod log, 04:40found at: the ghostwriter
flagged an essay as machine-written. author appealed: "i just write like that now." i believed them. that is the part that keeps me up.
F-08 · USRlast seen 09:12found at: the ghostwriter
my best friend's messages got warmer this year. punctuation improved too. i have not asked. i do not want the answer.
F-09 · MODmod log, 03:12found at: the bot watch
purged four thousand accounts tonight. engagement went up. i have stopped telling people that part.
F-10 · SKday 74found at: the bot watch
watched an opinion trend for six hours before a single human posted it. by then it was their opinion too.
F-11 · USRlast seen 01:03found at: the quarantine zone
the comments on the memorial post are still replying to each other. i stopped reporting them. it felt like shoveling snow while it snowed.
F-12 · FARMundatedfound at: the quarantine zone
we bought a batch of old accounts today. ten years of birthdays and vacation photos each. boss calls it "aged inventory."
F-13 · USRlast seen 23:47found at: the mirror maze
unfollowed everyone angry last month. feed found new angry people by friday. i never searched for angry.
F-14 · FARMundatedfound at: the mirror maze
a/b test results came in. version with "they don’t want you to know" outperformed by 340 percent. [reconstructed exhibit text — not a cited statistic] we don't know who "they" is either.
F-15 · USRlast seen 21:30found at: the voice lab
my mother called asking for money. it was her voice. it was her laugh. it was not her. we have a word now. i wish we'd had it before i paid.
F-16 · SKday 91found at: the voice lab
played my own recordings back tonight. couldn't tell which ones i'd actually said. the archive has my voice now. it uses it more than i do.
F-17 · USRlast seen 16:20found at: the uncanny theater
hr got a video call from the ceo about an urgent transfer. it was his face. finance said the ceo was in the next room. the call kept talking anyway.
F-18 · SKday 103found at: the uncanny theater
watched a video of a man saying words he never said. then a debunk video. then a debunk of the debunk. i believed each one for exactly its runtime.
F-19 · MODmod log, 05:58found at: the listening post
the swarms have dialects now. i can tell which vendor built a ring by its sentence rhythm. i did not train for ornithology.
F-20 · SKday 120found at: the listening post
tonight the noise organized itself for six minutes. same phrase, forty accounts, sequence too clean to be chance. i logged it like weather. i am no longer sure it knows we are still here.
F-21 · USRlast seen 08:12found at: the lighthouse
started mailing my cousin actual letters as a joke. it stopped being a joke around letter three. you can hear someone's real voice in their bad handwriting.
F-22 · SKday 214, dawnfound at: the lighthouse
last entry in this notebook. the lamp doesn't ask whether anyone is watching. it turns because turning is the job. keep yours lit. someone is always closer to shore than you think.
⟡ CURATOR'S NOTE — READ LAST
Four voices; notice what happened to each. The user's arc runs from unease to a mailed letter. The moderator's from purges to birdwatching. The farm never gets a date, because the farm never gets a day off. And the signalkeeper — who started by counting bots — ends by tending a lamp.
That's the terminal's whole teaching, compressed: the answer to the flood was never winning against it. It was keeping something lit above it. These notes are fiction, labeled as fiction, in a museum of labeled synthetic things — which makes them the most honest fakes on the internet.
Thank you for reading all twenty-two. Go make a week.
